As you build out the mansion, you’ll get to explore the different rooms, interact with the strange mechanisms of the rooms, and slowly uncover all kinds of secrets. An early example of a room with a singular puzzle is the Observatory. After using two cranks correctly to position the telescope out the window, you can start to receive different prizes each time you draw this card into your mansion. Monster Energy Supercross 25 feels very familiar, but it’s undoubtedly the best entry in the series yet.
FF7R not only brought the original back to life, it set the stage for a whole new adventure that’s just as exciting. And even if the second part, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, improves on it in some ways, you absolutely must begin your journey here. Because reviews are, by definition, someone’s opinion, no review is ever “right,” and no review is ever “wrong” (as long as it’s based on correct factual information). The IGN review is the official statement on a game’s quality because we’ve chosen a single critic to step up and represent us, but it is still the opinion of the reviewer, and no opinion is universal among all gamers.

Basically, you can’t really complete a quest over the course of the campaign without pissing off one of the four main crime families in order to please another.
Really the worst that can happen is if your sails are destroyed by crashing into something and you have to spend some resources to repair them, which isn’t so bad at all. This direction makes Aloft feel quite stress-free, allowing you to focus on exploration, customizing your island, and goofing around with friends – all of which I was happy to do. The silver lining of these dark clouds is that they’re often so poorly made that they crap out after a certain point (if they ever worked at all), so we were spared from any permanent effects that playing a game this terrible might have on our brains.

That NPC with a funny mustache, that note on a corpse, or that bit of paper nailed to a tree might provide a lead. Follow that lead, and you’ll soon find yourself on a quest, although ‘quest’ may not feel like the right word. Sometimes, the greatest compliment you can give a game is that it doesn’t feel like a game, and this is often true of Atomfall.
The potential for hijinks within this enormous sandbox of towns, outlaws, and wildlife was already nearly limitless, but the PC version factors in new missions, treasures, gear, and more layered on top of the already 60+ hours of story content in the base game. That’s not even counting all the multiplayer bells and whistles included in Red Dead Online, to say nothing of the ability to expand and customize with mods. RDR2 on PC is handily a must-play for anyone with a rig beefy enough to run it at high frame rates (even the PlayStation 4 Pro can’t force it to run above 30fps) – or even a Steam Deck. Couple that with frenzied combat and an unforgettable soundtrack, and it’s more than worth checking out if you missed it.

On the list of great PC games, Pacific Drive is both fairly new and quite weird, which is funny since it’s also firmly planted in the New Weird genre alongside stuff like Welcome To Night Vale, The SCP Foundation, and Remedy’s Control.
Game Informer is a long-running video game magazine that also has a website. Unlike other gaming websites that also feature content for movies and TV, this one is all about games (occasionally covering movies and TV based on games). You’ll find news, previews of upcoming games, reviews, and features. Whether you’re a longtime fan of FromSoftware’s notoriously challenging games or intrigued by the constant buzz, Elden Ring is a fantastic starting point for seeing what the soulsborne genre is all about. Its streamlined introduction, versatility in accommodating your choice of playstyle, and open-world design all work to alleviate the “brick wall” dilemma of getting stuck on a difficult boss in Dark Souls games. It’s that elasticity that makes this FromSoftware adventure a (slightly) friendlier one, while still being full of godlike bosses looking to snuff out your life, threateningly large maps, and intriguing NPCs rife with charm, mystery, and tragedy.

It knows you’re playing a roleplaying game and uses that awareness to mess with you at every turn, remembering your saving habits, following your story decisions, and constantly adjusting itself in surprising ways to remind you that actions have unexpected consequences. For one reason or another, these games made us wish we’d never played them. My first family, which consisted of a husband, wife, and child based on my own family, treated each other like strangers at the start, as selecting their relationships in character creation does not actually give them any sort of base friendship or similar in-game. After spending a few days with this family, trying my hardest to make them like each other while also learning InZoi’s ropes, I decided a fresh start would be better and made my next Zoi–a young adult with a Collaborator mindset and a bright future ahead of her. Another one of the more fascinating parts of InZoi is how, rather than thrusting you straight into your own virtual dollhouse, it presents you with a bizarre yet inspired story in which a corporation (seemingly operated by cats) sends you off to control your own virtual world. Though a very small part of the game, it does offer InZoi some much-needed levity and quirkiness. Furthermore, these cat overlord-type figures also seem particularly concerned with the idea of your Zois generating good karma in order to pass on to the afterlife, as those with bad karma are doomed to roam about until they build up enough goodwill to move forward. All this forms a sort of loose structure for the game that centers around community, humanity, goodness, and, perhaps a bit morbidly, death.
